If it is, then that puts the onus on each of us to embrace life. If it is, then we can't blame anyone else for our sadness or our pain. If it is, then it is a scary revelation for many because all of a sudden they realize they have become responsible for their own happiness and joy. And if it is.... then we have each been given the best gift we could ever ask for: freedom.
